Canceling a Licence Plate/Registration

You will be required to surrender your registration, plates and stickers as well as provide identification verifying that you are the registrant. The prorated unused portion of the original registration fee (if any) will be refunded by mail less a $20.00 Alberta Government administrative processing fee.

If you are currently out of the province you may complete this service by mailing in the Licence Plate Cancellation form along with a copy of your ID and a cheque or money order payable to crowfoot plates registry Inc.
